Since its inception, Cathedral High School has proven itself the community standard in educating leaders. Whether an Ambassador, Chief Justice, Mayor, County Commissioner, City Representative or other public servant, those who have walked the halls of Cathedral High School all share in the common Lasallian bond of caring for fellow citizens, simply because it is the right thing to do.
In a democratic republic, where it is the role of the secondary school to train students for citizenship, Cathedral High School has consistently taught its students how to ask questions, seek answers, and communicate their findings. That is, they must be strong citizens, inquisitive historians, and strong leaders if they are to make their mark on our society. Thus, the Social Sciences curriculum is built on the notion of steadily increasing responsibility and skill so that our next generation can take charge of their own education, both academic and social.
Most noteworthy is Cathedral's commitment not merely to prepare your sons to enter college, but rather, prepare him for his second year of college by offering a sequence of College Early Admissions Courses, taught in conjunction with the El Paso Community College.
