economic concerns to them. Are there any common areas of interest?
Pick one key issue and compare the concerns of several groups regarding
that issue.
2. Visit the Internet site of a Texas labor organization and a local business group. Also, visit the Internet sites of national labor and business organizations. What priorities do the national and local organizations appear to share? Are there any apparent differences in priorities? 3. Draft a brief press release for a campaign reform or opposition group detailing concerns regarding a member of Congress's campaign finance history. Can you identify big contributors with special interest currently before the government who seem to be seeking access or influence?
