Cathedral High School is proud to announce that starting in the 2019-2020 school year we are becoming a BYOD (bring your own device) campus. Students will be assigned Cathedral email addresses and have access to Office 365 apps.
The BYOD program will be restricted to devices running Microsoft Windows or Mac OS. No other devices such as iPad's, kindles Chromebooks or android devices will be allowed access. These restrictions will be put in place so we may install software that will be beneficial for classroom instruction.
Devices must be capable of supporting all day battery life. Cathedral will not provide any charging stations. Devices must be charged overnight at home and ready to use everyday with a full charge. Below we will provide recommendations of devices that will support all day battery life and further aide as an instructional tool in the classroom.
Parents and student must accept sign our acceptable usage policy in order to gain access to the school's network and be able to participate in classroom lessons. This policy may be found by clicking
here. The policy will be part of the enrollment packet and signed electronically.
