ART 1

• Composition book (this will be your sketchbook) and should be 9 ¾ inches x 7 ½ inches. This is less expensive than a sketchbook.
  • 1 big box of facial tissues. Write your name and class period on the box.
  • Pencils (Every day to class).
  • 1 white eraser
  • Black Sharpie Markers (a set of 4 markers or more to use throughout the school year) - Both Ultra Fine Point and Fine point are needed.         
  • A poster board (size 22 inches x 28 inches). Any color would be fine. This will be used as your portfolio to store some of your artwork. It needs to be poster board and not regular paper. Poster board is thicker and will be more durable.
  • Markers (10 or 12 count preferred). Brand name is optional. It does not have to be Crayola, but they DO NEED TO BE BROAD LINED.
  • ******OPTIONAL******Colored pencils, compass, and sharpeners – I have these items in my classroom but you are more than welcome to purchase and bring them to class for your own use.
  • Please note: Throughout the school year there is a great probability that your son will need to bring other items depending on the art project. I will notify you in advance when this will occur.
  • Please have your son write his name on their art supplies with a permanent marker.

  AP ART HISTORY
• One book cover for the thick textbook you will be in care of. It is a new book and we want to take care of them. (Please do not mark inside the books)
  • 1 Highlighter
  • Blue or black ink pen
  • 1 Spiral notebook to take notes (1 subject - college ruled).
  • A 3-pronged folder with side pockets.
  • 1 Glue stick
  • A large quantity of 3x5 or 4x6 inch index cards.
  ***Note*** I have some notecards so you don’t need to bring some right at the beginning of this school year. Please keep in mind that you might need to purchase some later.
  • Index card case (make sure your case is the same size of cards you want to use).
